On August 4th, Meghan Markle will turn 39. The Duchess of Sussex, who married Prince Harry in 2018, will celebrate her birthday in Los Angeles, away from the Royal Family but close to her family and little Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.
To celebrate his birthday, we collected five curiosities about Meghan Markle.
His real name is not Meghan
Surprised? Actually Meghan is her middle name. In fact, at birth, the Duchess of Sussex was baptized Rachel Meghan Markle. The choice of the middle name as the main one is common among Hollywood actors.
The Duchess is an expert calligrapher

To stay in the audition and apprenticeship period, Meghan chose a truly tres-chic job: the calligrapher for the invitations and the tableau de marriage. And who would have guessed that Robin Thicke would have the wedding invitations handwritten by the Duchess of Sussex?

At 11 years old Meghan wrote to Procter and Gamble to complain about the stereotypical image of women that was shown in their advertisement (which suggested that only women should wash dishes) asking that the corporate marketing language be changed. The company incredibly answered her and proved her right.

Meghan’s love for yoga is well known (so much so that she wanted a room just to practice it in her home in the UK). The Duchess would have started practicing it already at the age of 7, involved by the mother who led her to take mother-daughter courses. Since then Meghan has never stopped practicing yoga to regain her balance
Meghan is a relative of Shakespeare

Okay, this is a little loud as a revelation. However, it is the MyHeritage.com site that has stated that, according to their genealogical research, Meghan would be a distant relative of the Great Bardo. Other than blue blood.
