Bunk beds are fun even if they are not modeled as pirate ships, different animals, racing cars or military camps. You can play games related to these themes using your imagination and some accessories that you can easily find at home. In this article I will teach you how to play some fun games in your bunk bed.
First, let’s start with the Double Decker game. As the name implies, your bunk bed will turn into a Double Decker that you will drive and take your passengers around the imaginary city and get off at the imaginary stops. You will have the opportunity to create your own path and present to the passengers (who will be seated in the lower part and in the upper berth) different points of attraction that appear along the way. For a steering wheel, ask your mother for a bucket lid. Every bus driver needs a hat, so check if your dad has an old hat around the house.
The pirate ship game is probably one of the most fun and entertaining games. You will be the captain of the pirate ship’s bed and sail through seas full of all sorts of dangers and enemies. Your crew will be seated on the upper berth, behind your back, while the prisoners will be trapped in the ship’s prison which is located on the lower berth. You can use the same bucket lid as a steering wheel, and since every pirate ship needs a pirate flag, you can draw one or ask your parents to buy one.
Every child loves to go camping in the woods. But suppose there are no woods around the area where you live. If so, you can enjoy camping from your bedroom, actually from your bed. That’s right, you can turn your bunk bed into a tent and pretend you’re in the middle of the desert. Take a sheet and hang it from the upper bunk so that it covers the space between the two beds on all sides. That will be your tent. Turn off all the lights in the room, play a tape with the sounds of the forest and use only a torch to illuminate the place. Don’t light a fire in the middle of your bedroom. 🙂 Now you can tell scary stories inside the tent or go out and about with your friends.
Of course, there are many more games that you can play by turning your bunk bed. But for starters, try these 3. I guarantee you will have a lot of fun.
