1. Start with a clean slate

Before you do anything else, it’s important to make sure your face is clean. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser twice a day—once in the morning and once at night—to remove dirt, oil, and sweat that can clog pores and lead to breakouts. Avoid using harsh scrubs, as they can irritate your skin.

2. Exfoliate regularly

Exfoliating helps to remove dead skin cells that can build up on the surface of your skin and cause dullness. It also helps to unclog pores and prevent breakouts. Aim to exfoliate two or three times a week using a gentle scrub. Avoid using harsh exfoliants, as they can damage your skin.

3. Moisturize daily

Moisturizing is an important step in any skincare routine, but it’s especially important for men because their skin is typically thicker than women’s skin. Use a light, oil-free moisturizer every day to keep your skin hydrated and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. If you have oily skin, look for a moisturizer that is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores.

4. Use sunscreen

Sunscreen is an essential part of any skincare routine—not just in the summer months, but all year round. Look for a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher that offers broad-spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays. Apply sunscreen every day, even if you’re not spending time outdoors.

5. Protect your lips

Your lips are just as susceptible to sun damage as the rest of your face, so don’t forget to apply sunscreen to them when you’re spending time outdoors. You can also use a lip balm or ChapStick with SPF to protect your lips from the sun’s harmful rays. In addition to sunscreen, make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your lips hydrated.

6. Shave carefully

Shaving can be tough on your skin, so it’s important to do it carefully. Wet your beard with warm water before shaving to soften the hair and open up the pores. Use a sharp razor and shave in the direction of hair growth to avoid irritation. Finish by rinsing with cold water to close the pores back up again

Body soap is not good and safe for the face skin. As facial skin is more sore and sensitive so always use the only facial cleaner to rinse face.

Never fail to rinse your face before bed, especially if you have used sunscreen during the daytime.

Every alternate day shaves at least some parts of the face, whether you are clean shaven or wear a mustache or a beard. If you are using an electric razor, use it on dry skin.
