Tips to remember while applying Mehndi

It is recommended that before applying Mehndi on the whole hand test the Mehndi cone on a small area of your hand. There might be some chemicals used at your skin may be allergic to.

Wait for one or two days after your wax and then apply Mehndi. After waxing your skin pores are open, so wait for them to close.

When you buy a Mehndi cone check for the expiry date, if it is not printed, ask the shopkeeper about it. Do not buy from old stock.

If you want the best look of your Mehndi then leave the Mehndi on your hand for overnight.

Try not to rub the Mehndi off once it’s dry. Remove it by applying oil, preferably mustard oil. Do not wash it off with water if you want a brighter color.
